Hunger Games - District 3 Nails! 

**China Glaze - Riveting **

This is a gorgeous orange polish.  It’s an orange base with tiny orange shimmer and the way it just sparkles and shines in the sun is beautiful.  I don’t usually wear orange but if I owned more oranges like this one, I’d never wear anything else. 

For this design I wanted to try something new and I’d just gotten some nail stripping tape that i’d ordered a week prior.  So taking major inspiration from this tutorial from Dandy Nails which is based off a design by Gems in a Bottle, I came up with this.  I wanted it to look somewhat futuristic/technological-esque considering these were for District 3.

When I saw that the China Glaze Hunger Games Collection had a matte polish I was so happy.  I love matte polishes and even though they don’t quite love me back, I’m never giving up. 

I wish this was a little more inspired by District 2… but it was like midnight and adding some black and silver stripes was about all I could manage. : p
