It’s been awhile and that’s for a very specific reason. The stress of the holidays have killed my nails. They look terrible right now. So here is an old photo of one of my layer experiments.
I was attempting to imitate the ButterLondon polish Knackered.
Polishes:
Pure Ice - Black Rage
Alternating layers of:
Wet ‘n Wild - Gray’s Anatomy
China Glaze - Fairy Dust
The polish didn’t really photograph as well as I had hoped, but in person the purple/green duo-chrome is very pretty.
NOTD:
China Glaze - Deviantly Daring
China Glaze - Life’s a Beach
Sally Hansen - Silver Sweep
I wanted to showcase my new polish from China Glaze’s Bohemian Collection and at the same time saw CutePolish’s Braided Nails tutorial. So I did this. I love how this came out.
Nerd Lacquer - Beggar’s Canyon
China Glaze - Fast Track
I just love the unique look the different shades of gold, bronze and purple glitters give this polish. This is also a much better swatch than when I had it layered over a polish that was much too dark for it (here).
Something bright and neon for the summer.
Nina Ultra Pro - Lime Light
China Glaze - Blonde Bombshell
OPI - Thrill in Beverly Hills
If the green looks splotchy to you… its because it is. Lime Light was the most stubborn difficult… most annoying polish I think I have ever worked with… so yeah…
NOTD:
Lynnderella Boy-Girl Party
Revlon Blue Slate
I am so unbelievably happy with my Lynnderella purchases. I cannot wait to put in a second wishlist because each of these glitters have be a fabulous.
Because I just cannot get enough of Max Factor - Fantasy Fire.
(layered over OPI - Honk if you love OPI)
NOTD:
China Glaze - Stone Cold
China Glaze Crackle - Fault Line
Essie - Matte About You top coat
Random NOTD:
OPI - Y’all Come Back Now Ya Hear?
Finger Paints - Motley
*shrug* Blue and Orange was calling out to me that day.
